French Art Deco statue FREE DELIVERY ON THIS ITEM
Beautiful original French Art Deco statue of a dancing lady. She is grey in colour, I am not sure if this is the original colour or whether she has had a face lift at some stage in her life however, the colour is nicely in keeping with the style. There are areas of age related damage to the paintwork but not chips to the statue. She is an elegant lady with a full pleated skirt which she is holding out while she dances. She is standing on a plinth. I bought this beauty in Corsica so I don’t know if she originated in mainland France or started her life on the island.
This lovely piece is simple and elegant and would sit beautifully against a wall with a complimentary colour where she can stand out and shine. She would make a nice gift for a loved one for a 9th Anniversary which is pottery.
