Antique set of 3 Victorian David Methven and Sons ceramic pitchers
This set of three ceramic pitchers would have been produced in Scotland around 1880 by David Methven and Sons. The design is called “Views” and it consist of a patchwork of floral and scenic landscape patterns.
Each jug is in quite good order for their age, however the largest jug has a crack running down one side, it is still solid and useable, there is also a very minor nibble on the underneath of the middle sized jug. Otherwise they are all in good condition. It is rare to have three pitchers that have survived together for so long.

Medium 19cm high 12.5cm wide
Small 16.5cm high 11cm wide
